Marmox THERMOBLOCK is a patented insulating block, consisting of an insulating part with a thickness from 47 to 94 mm. The upper and lower sides are covered with a 3 mm layer of (nano)polymeric cement, reinforced with a fibreglass mesh. The insulating part itself consists of extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) containing regularly spaced load-bearing (nano) polymeric concrete cylinders. These cylinders are inextricably connected to the upper and lower sides.
The product has a unique compressive strength and R-value and is watertight, lightweight and easy to work with. It is the best solution to stop thermal bridges for example at the foot of the wall.
